NFL Week 17: Chargers-Broncos Do or Die

San Diego Chargers 7-8 vs Denver Broncos 8-7
You win and you're in. It is that simple for these two teams. The winner takes the AFC West Title and a home playoff game next weekend against the Indianapolis Colts. The Chargers are red hot, while the Broncos are ice cold. The game is in San Diego and I think the nice weather means a shootout. Jay Cutler will put on a show with the lack of a running game, but the Denver defense will be the difference maker in this game. The Chargers still have! a great offense and I think their defense holds enough to pull this one out. SD is the pick and your AFC West Champions.

Dallas Cowboys 9-6 vs Philadelphia Eagles 8-6-1
It is simple for the Cowboys, you win and you're in. The Eagles however need a win, a Tampa Bay loss, and either a Chicago or Minnesota loss. The Cowboys have had plenty of drama this season and even more this week with WR Roy Williams speaking out. The distractions ! have kept this team from being the NFL's best team as was expe! cted. T he injuries are there to Tony Romo, Marion Barber, and Jason Witten, but Dallas will be the first to tell you those are no excuse. This team has pulled it together defensively ever since Wade Phillips started calling the defensive plays and I think that continues. The offense should give them just enough to win. Dallas is the pick and snags the last NFC Wildcard spot.

Miami Dolphins 10-5 vs New York Jets 9-6
If Miam! i wins they turn a 1-15 year from a season ago into an 11-5 AFC East Champion season the next. Bill Parcells has helped changed the culture in Miami. QB Chad Pennington has revitalized his career and now has a chance to stick it to his former team. Pennington has played fantastic this season and I believe should be in the thick of the MVP discussions. The Jets collapsed last week in Seattle against the Seahawks and now need a lot of help to get into the postseason. They need to beat Miami, hope for Baltimore to lose against Jacksonville to clinch a wildcard slot. Brett Favre could be playing in his final game (we've heard that before) and I think he plays relatively well. The Jets get it together and with that Eric Mangini saves his job. The Jets are the upset pick.
